Shopping and dining are a pleasure in Rolling Meadows. There are more than 400 shops and restaurants in the area. Both residents and visitors enjoy browsing through the neighborhood strip and mega centers.

Along the Algonquin Road corridor you will come across the WalMart/Sam's and Meijer Supercenters along with a number of Restauraunts and specialty stores.

Two miles away, Woodfield Mall, one of the largest retail shopping centers in the United States, houses five major department stores, plus 235 shops and restaurants. About five miles east, Randhurst Shopping Center is home to four major department stores and more than 140 shops and services. Both malls have large food courts.

When dining around town, there is something for everyone. The city offers a variety of restaurants, from "Silver Platter" award winners to fast food to banquet facilities.

graphicTwo establishments that offer food and entertainment are the nationally renowned Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament, featuring a medieval-style banquet and a live performance by medieval knights; and the Arlington Park & Trackside Restaurant.
